Terms of Service
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Oramta (“Oramta”, “we”), the website at oramta.com and the service behind it. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
Who can use Oramta
Oramta is for psychotherapists, counsellors and other mental health professionals, aged 18 or over, using it in their own practice. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in and your Reports PIN to yourself.
Your clients’ consent
You must have your client’s informed consent before you record a session or upload a recording, and you must follow the law and the professional rules that apply to you. Oramta processes session content on your behalf; you decide what is recorded.
What Oramta is, and is not
Oramta drafts notes and points out moments worth a second look. The analysis is produced by AI and can be wrong in either direction. It is not a diagnosis, not medical advice and not a substitute for your clinical judgement, which governs. Review every note before you rely on it. Oramta does not monitor sessions for emergencies and must never be relied on to detect or respond to one: follow your own crisis protocol.
Your content
You own what you record and what Oramta produces from it. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you. Recordings are deleted after analysis; notes and transcripts stay until you delete them. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Acceptable use
Do not use Oramta to record anyone without their consent, to break the law, to try to reach another user’s data, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend an account that does.
Trial, plans and payment
Every account starts with a free 7-day trial; the first 10 Early Adopter applicants get one month instead. The plans and prices are on the Pricing page. Online payment is not open yet, and nothing is charged until it is and you choose a plan. Paid plans will be billed monthly in advance through Razorpay. A price change will be announced before it applies to you. Cancellation and refunds are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Availability
We work to keep Oramta available and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Copy each note into your own record system; Oramta is not a substitute for your clinical record.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Oramta is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of its analysis, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using Oramta at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end an account that breaks these terms, after telling you where we can.
Changes and law
If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top; continuing to use Oramta after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai have jurisdiction.
